The more we learned about exercise and nutrition, we realized how much misinformation was out there and how many people were being led down the wrong path.
Everywhere you turn there is a new diet, cookbook, exercise program or celebrity endorsing the latest low fat/low carb/vegan/macrobiotic/paleo/gluten-free diet.
Whew! They ALL promise to be the miracle cure for what ails you, making you skinnier, happier and healthier in the process. So who do you believe?
It’s easy to get lost in the hype and some of the promises out there. Who wouldn’t want to be able to take a “miracle pill” and eat whatever they want or wrap ourselves in plastic and lose fat. And don’t even get us started on the chocolate diet!!
The sad truth is that every day, people are getting taken advantage of and giving up thousands of dollars for programs that are making them sick.
So it is our mission to take both our personal successes and our health education and teach as many people as we can the truth behind healthy weight loss.
